“The Nest” - Painting on Silk - $310

When my children were young we had the pleasure of watching a nest of cardinals hatch and fledge in a bush that was in front of a window. It’s not something you’re often privy to...and it happens relatively quickly! The anticipation is here for these robin eggs to burst forth with chicks at any moment. The feeling is captured here forever on silk with dye. These special textile dyes become an integral part of the silk fabric after it is steam set for permanency. 

This original artwork is framed in a silver-toned metal frame. The overall framed size is 13x14.
