"Mountain Moonrise" - Painting on Silk - SOLD

A summer moon rises over the western mountains of Maine. Soft colors, delicate tree lines of hills in the distance--so serene. 

This work has been hand-painted on silk using permanent textile dyes that are steam set to insure longevity. After the painting is completed, the silk is stretched over a padded board and framed without glass to ensure the viewer can enjoy the sheen of the natural silk and dyes. Framed dimensions: 23" x 12"

Although this one has become part of a private collection, a request can be made for a similar landscape. Please do inquire.
