“Kaleidoscope Ripple Effect”- Hand-dyed Silk Scarf - $125

The ripple effect has so many implications. It keeps showing up in my life in one way or another. Maybe this title will make you stop and think a minute and see how the ripples might be happening in your own reality. A batik method, using eco-friendly soy wax, was used to create the design. I created a multi-hued first layer with dyes on the silk. Applied the design with hot wax and then applied black dye over all. The areas with wax maintained that first layer of colors. Always one of a kind!  14 x 72, 100% china silk.
