This is the fourth in my new series of Minerals & Gems. Maine is famous for its semi-precious stones…but maybe not something as exotic as sapphires. This one could be sapphire or azurite. I’d like to subtitle it “Denim Sapphire”. This is truly a one-of-a-kind statement piece that is timeless. Many layers of dye accented by a few silver metallic veins make this a striking wardrobe accessory. 14 x 72, 100% china silk.

Care Instructions
Hand wash in warm water with a delicate soap. There will likely be color escaping. Swish it a few times and be sure not to let it sit. Add a splash of white vinegar to rinse water. Rinse again. Hang to dry. For flat scarves iron with steam. For Activity Scarves, wring out excess moisture, twist the scarf and wrap it around a towel bar to ensure you maintain the creases.
