A stormy afternoon in the Western Mountains of Maine is the inspiration for this painting. The skies on a summer day can change so quickly. As I have learned, it's always good to have a variety of outerwear handy on any given day here!
Image size is 22” x 12”. 100% silk habotai (china silk). Silk dyes are permanent. However, it is not recommended to hang this in direct sunlight. Please choose your frame color at check out. Grey, Wood, or Black.

Care Instructions
Hand wash in warm water with a delicate soap. There will likely be color escaping. Swish it a few times and be sure not to let it sit. Add a splash of white vinegar to rinse water. Rinse again. Hang to dry. For flat scarves iron with steam. For Activity Scarves, wring out excess moisture, twist the scarf and wrap it around a towel bar to ensure you maintain the creases.
