Magenta and a soft orange and a slight bit of gray turn into amazing 3-dimensional swirls and patterns on this “mermaid” scarf. The gray dye virtually disappears as the salt does its magic on the silk. Adorn yourself with this elegant swath of silk or surprise someone special for a gift. A great addition to any wardrobe as it is truly OOAK, as are all of my creations! 14 x 72, 100% silk. This is made to order. Please allow up to 2 weeks prior to shipping.
I started calling these salt effect scarves “Mermaid Scarves” because the designs made me think of sea anemones. I make these in a variety of color ways.

Care Instructions
Hand wash in warm water with a delicate soap. There will likely be color escaping. Swish it a few times and be sure not to let it sit. Add a splash of white vinegar to rinse water. Rinse again. Hang to dry. For flat scarves iron with steam. For Activity Scarves, wring out excess moisture, twist the scarf and wrap it around a towel bar to ensure you maintain the creases.
