Magenta and a soft orange and a slight bit of gray turn into amazing 3-dimensional swirls and patterns on this “mermaid” scarf. The gray dye virtually disappears as the salt does its magic on the silk. Adorn yourself with this elegant swath of silk or surprise someone special for a gift. I started calling these salt effect scarves “Mermaid Scarves” because the designs made me think of sea anemones. I make these in a variety of color ways.
