I'm told cardinals mate for life. This trio of paintings tells a little courtship story for this handsome pair as Mr. Cardinal searches, and then finds, a lovely Mrs. that he woos with the fruits of the bittersweet vine. Intimate conversation about their future ensues. ;-)

Many folks believe that cardinals are visitors from the "other side"...perhaps a loved one sending a signal that they are watching over you. A nice thought.

These works are hand-painted on silk using permanent textile dyes instead of paints. Sold as a set only. Framed dimensions: 14.5" x 12.5", 14" 3/8" x 15", 14 3/8" x 15".
