Summer in the Western Maine mountains--some mornings are cool and flat calm on the lake with just a hint of mist and a cloudy sky. Will it rain or will the clouds break for a sunny day? (Photos show half of the image at a time...this format doesn’t work well for wide or long!)
This work has been hand-painted on dupioni silk using permanent textile dyes that are steam set to insure longevity. After the painting is completed, the edges of the silk are sewn to accept the hanging rods. Finished size is 46” x 18”.
